GPS Antennas

Do all GPS antennas have the short lead for mounting under the dash pad??

 

I am going to upgrade a 2005 GMC Savanna Van with a new TNR and would

like to use an external antenna mounted on the roof.

Doe's GM have such an antenna with a 15 foot or more wire - part #??

 

If not, how about after market?

I have heard of some results from using the onstar antenna (which communicates with GPS sats for location data) I'll bet you will have luck with it.
