I pulled my intake after I ran 2 cans of Foam through my truck. The stuff works and works well. Intake runners looked awesome!! For those of you who dont mind a tad bit of work and want to eliminate the oil consumption problem. The GM LS6 valley cover will pretty much cure that. The crankcase is vented through that cover and the PCV location is plugged. Or you can run an AMW catch can in line with the PCV hose.

Just remember to change your oil in the next 500 miles. Seafoam works great and it will also get down and dilute your oil so you need to changed your oil.. I have talked to several individuals that really like it. It helped clean up my injectors on my diesel jetta. I just pulled the fuel filter off, filted up a new fuel filter with Seafoam and started it up and let it run. Smoother throttle, with less smoke from the dirty injectors.

I would not use the brake booster vacumn line. I've heard that method only cleans the rear of the engine. It needs to be injected closely behind the throttle body/metering device so the seafoam is evenly distributed. Find a vacumn line & hook a 1/4" line to it and then run that to the bottle of seafoam, you can do the same thing with water and as it turns to steam in the engine it will clean carbon, but you have to be very careful with the water injection and do it in small amounts, so not to hydrolock the motor. I still hear and read of the pros and cons of the water but I've tried it on some engines and they sure are noticeably smoother afterwards. I usaully stop at a quart of water, revs between 2500 & 3000 & only dip the tube in the water until engine revs start to fall then remove the tube and let the engine burn off the steam. Gonna have to try the same with the seafoam now and see what happens.
