Keep us updated on the LS, the wife wants one. We were working on getting her a Yukon, but I think everyone on the road is safer now that we didn't. On the test drive she hit several curbs, and scared the S**t out of the sales guy. I am not a Furd fan by any means, and my family owned a dealership for 40 years, that should tell you something. I do however like the LS, what is the LS board address. I would like to do a little recon. and see how well they hold up.

Don't let the "you bought a ford" comments get to ya, I'm sure if you could have found something as good or better car quality wise for that price you would have gone with GM but as it stands, you got a great deal and that car and engine have a great relibablity rating and are not an eye sore like most GM cars are now a days.

I agree, I can't even get my wife to consider a GM car. I can't find one I would actually drive either. She also has her eyes on that Furd 500, GM needs to take a hard look at that one. Truck wise they have Furd beat hands down, car wise they have a loooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg way to go!

Yeah, I'm just kidding too :P:P

I've been the biggest buy-American sob I know for the longest time.

A few years ago I bought a hunda accord. Man.... THAT was tough. I caught h3ll from EVERYONE !!!!!

But like Ryan said, if I'd been able to find a comparable American vehicle for a comparable price, I'd have bought it.

I looked, literally, at 20+ cars (bought used). ABSOLUTELY NOTHING American came close to the hunda, for quality, price, mileage, dependability, resale, blah blah blah.

Sad but true :P

Enjoy the ride, Mike. Hope it gives you many trouble free miles.

Trader :P !!!!!!!!!!!

I'll bet you'll be back in a truck in the not too distant future. I sold my truck and bought a used Lexus IS300. I didn't think I needed a truck anymore but I found myself trying to get all kinds of stuff in trunk and back seat. It was fun to drive but just couldn't hold much. I had the car for 8 months when I went out to get new tires, which were too expensive. Soooo... I went out to buy tires and came back with a 01 Z71. My wife is still mad about that one.
