CD-RW in stock '01 Head Unit

Trying to figure out if a CD-RW will play in the LUX headunit with the single CD

 

I use Nero & burn as CDA. All I get IS "ERR" (ERROR) When I put it in the '01 headunit

 

ANyone have any luck doing this ?

 

I like to download from various sources and since I'm in the Yukon so much It gives me the time to pick and choose my downloads for a final burn on a regular CD. I was hoping to use CD-RW's for previews.

I've never had luck with cdrw for audio, I always stick with cdr.

I just stick the CD in there, and tell Nero that I'm burning an audio CD...No issues, they play fine. Next time I'll check to see what format it's burning them in.

I haven't had any luck. I just get the error message with the cdrw.

they will play CDR's but not CDRW's even if it is an audio CDRW.
