The discount varies by vehicle. The largest discounts are usually on trucks and SUVs - about 15%. I looked up a 2005 Sierra Denali this morning:

MSRP: $42,890

GMS: $36,444

I wonder what GM will do extra for employees, retirees, and family since we currently get the GMS price plus most other incentives.

It's actually lower than the GMS price. GMS is the GM supplier discount. I think GM employees get it a little lower (2-4%)

I wish the retards in upper office at gm would realize that the only thing there doing is ruining the resale values of every person that owns a gm vehical.Lower the fn window stickers and stop with these idiotic rebates and incentives and just sell your damm cars and trucks at the price there worth!

Some people dont pay attention to what the newest rebates and incentives are and get a shock when they see these gm vehicals with there bloated up window stickers and walk away!

And your also right on the value of our GM cars/trucks,The trade in value has dropped bad because if its to high the dealer can't sell it high because people will just buy a new one instead of the used one.

Yeah to me it does not matter that much although im sure im already backwards on the loan but i have been making more then what the payment is for that reason.I still got almost 10 grand of my truck so i think the deal i got is still a good one, and i uasally keep my trucks for 7 years or longer so resale is not extremely important to me, but these rebates are really getting out of hand.And have talked to people first hand who have walked out of gm lots because there stickers are ridiculas but didnt realize that with rebates the car is really a few thousands of dollars less!

Im really begining to wonder who these idiots are that are making these choices within the company and why the hell there jobs are not being terminated!There marketing department is a freakin joke and really need to wake up and get with the program or get either run over or bought out by companys like toyota!
