Anyone happen to catch The late show tonight?  No opening, or anything.  Just Dave sitting there talking to you.  I have no idea how he made it through his speach without breaking into tears, because I didn't.  Really well spoken for Dave!  Great points too.  If you didn't see it, you missed one of the greatest monologues in Late Show history!

it was extremely impressive, and I think I got more information out of Dan Rather with him speaking frankly (and showing that emotion) than I have received from any other source in the past week.

I saw Dave's monologue this morning on the news, very compelling!

I watched it very closely, and I nearly broke into tears myself.   I was speechless and inspired at the same time.

 

What shocked me more, was Dan Rather, choking up, not once, but twice.

 

I have to say, that was the best show Letterman has ever done.  Good work, Dave!!
