Kania2k1 Posted September 18, 2001 Posted September 18, 2001 Anyone happen to catch The late show tonight? No opening, or anything. Just Dave sitting there talking to you. I have no idea how he made it through his speach without breaking into tears, because I didn't. Really well spoken for Dave! Great points too. If you didn't see it, you missed one of the greatest monologues in Late Show history!
NeXuS1 Posted September 18, 2001 Posted September 18, 2001 no one reminds me, i never get a chance to capture anymore. also be nice if i finshed putting the ends for the RCA plugs on the cables too so i could record from the tv/dss
patrick Posted September 18, 2001 Author Posted September 18, 2001 it was extremely impressive, and I think I got more information out of Dan Rather with him speaking frankly (and showing that emotion) than I have received from any other source in the past week.
gmcjoe Posted September 18, 2001 Posted September 18, 2001 I saw Dave's monologue this morning on the news, very compelling! Go Dave!!!
Torque Junkie Posted September 19, 2001 Posted September 19, 2001 I watched it very closely, and I nearly broke into tears myself. I was speechless and inspired at the same time. What shocked me more, was Dan Rather, choking up, not once, but twice. I have to say, that was the best show Letterman has ever done. Good work, Dave!! -Mike
