Can you guys give me a brief description of what i need to do to get to it and how long it will take to do the job

how much would the new pump be ???

All you have to do is take off the top fan shroud and remove the fan.

Then you can start taking off hoses and the pump itself.

I can replace one in about 30 minutes.

I guess draining the coolant first is an optional step

Nyuck nyuck nyuck....

Did I write a complete repair manual or a few sentences?

I didn't say take off the belt or disconnect the battery first either. I guess he is gonna stand there staring at the top of the hood cause I didn't say open it first either. I guess he is gonna try to use his hands to remove the bolts since I didn't say use a wrench.

JHC I hate this place sometimes!

A guy here at work was quoted between $200 and $300 to have it done.

It really is a pretty easy job. I'm not quite as fast as 99-2door  It would probably take me an hour and a half or so.

I think there are 7 bolts holding the top half of the fan shroud on, 4 bolts holding the fan on, a few more for the pump itself, and a simple twist-of-pulley to get the belt off. Once you get the shroud and fan off, it's pretty obvious what else you need to do, as far as coolant hoses and whatnot.

The last water pump I bought at Oreally's was around $30-$35.
