crate Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 How can you remove the lock cylinder from a 1992 Gmc Sierra, if the key will not turn at all, in any direction. My dad 2 weeks ago was complaining about getting harder and harder to turn the key, told him to replace the cylinder, and well you see he didn't listen to me. So any ideas on how to get the old lock out? thanks

So any ideas on how to get the old lock out? thanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> my ingnition cylinder froze up on me when my truck was still on and i had to kill the truck and then take the steering wheel off and take the cylinder out like that hope that yelps you.
