gapless rings

I have a 98 Silverado Z71.... I was wondering if it has gapless rings, and if so, would they cause a slight pecking for about a minute or so on a cold start???

It is CSK, or piston slap, it is a issue with GM motors from the SBC to the GEN 3 motors. Don't worry about the noise, its not going to wreck your motor in anyway.

 

This is the 3rd thread on the same topic by you. Just so you know, its ok to post just one thread and it will get the same exposure as 3. It dosen't really bug me but some people get irritated by it.
