Creaking passenger side window?

Hey guys,

Does anybodys front passenger side window make any weird noises? Mine is making a creaking sound as it goes down and up. It's not messing up my tint yet, but I want to know if its something I can fix and not pay $$ to get fixed.

If by "creaking" you really mean "talking" then yes, my windows talk to me. They tell me not to go to bed because the clowns will eat me.

both my drivers side and passenger side windows will make a loud "Chirp" when I start to roll them down and they tend to be a bit "Noisy" as well.

where "exactly" is the sound coming from? if it's coming from inside the door, pull the panel off and try to locate it. If it's coming from around the top of the door, read below:

 

look in your owner's manual for maintenance, there's a part in there about greasing your window felts. this may be the problem. I usually just stick a little rag soaked in armor all or whatever between the window and felt, run it all the way across, roll the window up and clean it.

Mine make some noise when wet. The dealer has a silicone based lubricant to grease the tracks with. Never bought it though.

Mine started creaking recently. I assume it's because I completely took out both windows while installing new door handles and then reinstalling them. Maybe the window itself is a alligned a little off and is getting more friction than it's supposed to. I'm going to take my doors apart again and relube the tracks since I kinda cleaned the windows of any grease when I had them out. Just a thought.

Forgot what the lubricant was called though. I'll check the auto parts store.

I just used a silicone spray in the rear tracks of all my windows. I sprayed it into the felt tracks and it stopped the creaking/squeaking/squealing noise when lowering the windows. My front right window was shuddering before doing this as I lowered it.
