I use a swirl and haze remover made for your paint job but works great on glass. The only one I've used is Safe Cut from The Wax Shop, although I'm sure other brands would work well. Follow it up with Rain-X or a teflon based car polish and it will help keep those spots off the glass.

Thanks for the help guys.

I've tried a few things mentioned nothing worked.

I'm afraid the windshield needs to be power buffed or polished.

Before going out and spending a ton of money on glass polishers and polishing systems, try these three tips. First off, vinegar is really handy at ridding glass of mineral deposits. If that doesn't work, try some Bon Ami scouring powder that can be found with the bathroom cleaning products at your local store. You can't use Ajax, Comet or any other cleaner because they contain abrasives that will scratch your glass. I use Bon Ami on my windshield and it makes the glass clear as crystal. Another method is using 0000 steel wool.

Have you tried crumpled up newspaper? I'm serious.

Wet the glass first with a wet wad, and then hand polish in a circular motion with a big dry wad of crumpled up newspaper. You know its working when you hear it squeek as you polish. Keep flipping the wad over as it dampens and wears out. With a little elbow grease, your windows will sparkle and never be clearer.

I use "Barkeeper's Friend" which is just like a very fine Comet type cleaner. This stuff is cheap and really cleans/polishes the glass.

I use it also with excellent results. Wet the vehicle, apply to a wet towel and wash windshield well followed by a good rinse.

I also found that Dura-Gloss makes an excellent window polish that removes all water spots and some minor scratches.
