Buying an LB7 what should I look for?

I'm looking at a 2003 GMC DMAX and a 2002 CHEV DMAX both CC, Longbed. What are the small and major things I should look for before buying?

If the 2003 has the steering wheel driver information buttons its a PLUS.

Drive 'em both over a section of road with bad pavement joints and see if either or both has/have frame oscillations after hitting the pavement joints. I test drove a 2002 CC before buying my 2005 EC, and I think the 2002 had a stiffer (therefore better) frame. Things might have gotten sloppier when they switched body styles.

 

(Both of these trucks were short-bed versions.)
