Tire Size Computer Correction

Dose any one know the best way to change the on board computer to compensate for a taller tire (265-75-16 vs. stock 245-75-16)?

You do not need to adjust the computer to compensate for that little of a change. I changed my 245's to 265's just like you and was told by the dealer that a computer adjustment is not neccessary because it it not more than a 7% increase in tire size. You shouldn't have any problems, but if you do, the dealer can adjust the computer for you. :banghead:

When your speedo reads 60 mph you will be running 62.4.

reads 80 mph you will be running 83.1

Not a big problem.....

If you do decide to have it corrected, just get a tune from Jesse Bubb. Less than $100 and you get a tune as well.
