I want to pu tnew tires on an extended cad 4x4 Z71 silverado and was wondering wats the maximum size i could go on 16 or 17 inch wheels the truck has not been lifted or lowered in anyway

Are those sizes the same if the truck came with the 17inch rims?

No, 265/70-17 would be the same size as a 265/75-16....so the 285/70-17 would be basically the same size as a 285/75-16...
