Tranny knocks motor dies?

Ok I am new here it looks to be a great place for answers? I have a 97 1/2 ton Gmc. A year ago I was pulling my pontoon down to the lake of the Ozars and boom Transmission shattered. Ok I can except that it had 106,000 miles on it. Put in a new SRTA transmission and has been fine until lately, I pull out of my driveway and the motor dies, strange? then I start it put it in gear and clunk! into drive and clunk again when it shifts. So I take it to a dealer and they said it was some selenoid on the tranny and they fix I get it back and it's fine. For 2 days. Then I start the truck and it dies, I start it again and it shows the Alternater is charging at 19 volts then down to 9 volts then back t o19 then I put it in gear and if it does not die it slams into gear. Now I am thinking eveything on this truck is going to hel** in a handbasket. I have no idea what it could be and the dealer seems puzzled as he has had it for a couple of days now. Any help here or has anyone experienced the same? Thanks a ton.
