PCM Tune for Towing

I have the 4.8l V-8 in my truck and I have a 29' 4500lb travel trailer I would like to pull from time to time. I know I need to stiffen up the rear suspension and install a trans cooler and such but I was wondering if anyone has ever had their PCM tuned for towing? Was the improvement noticeable? I'd like to have any and all information if possible. What's the most weight you've towed with your 4.8?

I had my pcm from Wait4meperformance tuned for towing in the tow/haul mode and better performance in regular driving conditions. I don't know what he done exactly to the tow/haul mode. Call Jesse and talk to him. I just asked him to do anything he could to help me in towing conditions. I have a 5.3 but have towed about 7500#+/- a little. Not for sure exactly what 24"dia logs weigh.
