I have a couple of questions.

P chassis from a motorhome, will a 75 P/U cab fit on this chassis? Will I have to install cab mounts.and will there be any problems with this project?I would like to use the chassis to make a car hauler,I have a AZ.cab and from clip and a small semi sleeper. The chassis is a complete roller with big 19"tires and a stout rearend.

Yes, more than likely a truck cab will fit. One of the only differences is the P-chassis may have the steering gear clocked different on the frame rail to accommodate the forward driver’s island. You better pull out your tape measure and take good notes as to where to plant the cab mounts as the P-chassis does not have any body mounts.

The GM P-chassis became a Workhorse Custom Chassis P-chassis in 1999 when GM spun off that division. Next month, (August, 2005) the final P-chassis will roll off the line and a new breed of W motorhome and commercial step-van chassis will begin. See….

Workhorse.com for details.
