Look thru threads and see how to determine if you have the Bose Lux or Premium system. Lux usually shows as a Y91 option code.

On Ebay Non-Lux units are more costly as they are harder to find right now and fit the 05 Yukons, etc which don't have the Lux amp. I have an 05 Yukon XL and am upgrading my amp and using a Lux TNR. I found the Lux unit on Ebay this morning for $860. Typical price for Lux units right now seems to be $750-1200 on Ebay. Found that Gmpartsdirect is selling the Lux units for around $1400 and so is Specmo and Mobil Electronics. Their phone numbers are in the treads somewhere - I have them at the office and you can Pm me tomorrow if you like for the numbers. These would be new units from these places.

If I'm not mistaken the H2, Cadillac, and Denali come with the Lux amp but I don't know if that's standard in the H2. There's a lot to installing a unit, Lux or not, but the information is here, wiring diagrams and great instructions thanks to others who have contributed.

Some other accessories you'll need which aren't with a unit are the gps antenna and navigation disk. You might also want a separate cd player/changer as you can't play a cd and navigate at the same time - there's only one disk slot and if you're using it for the nav dvd you can't play a cd. There's lots of options but plenty of answers and suggestions are in the forums.

I have on '04 Yukon XL with the 6disc in-dash HU, OnStar, and XM. I'm looking to do the same. My question is, are you upgrading to a Lux-amp or an aftermarket? I would assume a Lux because I think the Lux TNR only outputs two channels of line level audio. Would it be better to get the non-Lux TNR or the Lux TNR with an amp upgrade? Any info would greatly be appreciated because the dealer hasn't been able to tell me much. Thanks!
