17" 6 lug rims on a 98 Suburban?

I bought a 95 Yukon XL and kept my old 98 Suburban. The new truck came with 17" wheels and I just bought 20's. I'd like to use the 17's on my 98 'burb but it has 5 lug 15" wheels.

Were 6 lug hubs and rotors an option for a 98 model that I can use on my truck? Will anything work to accomplish this?

Chevy used to make a light duty 3/4 ton in the 88-98 body style with 6 bolt wheels. The brakes and axles out of one of those trucks might be able to be used on your 1/2 ton 'burban. Not 100% sure, but someone else might know!

I did the 2500 light duty 6 bolt rotor swap but the newer wheels have more backspacing and have interference on the older trucks with less backspacing. Ended up running a 5 bolt to 6 bolt 2 piece wheel adapter that both changes your lug pattern AND spaces the newer wheels out perfectly. Adapters are strong, no problems, some might tell you otherwise but they're proven.

I am totally confused. GMC did not make a Yukon XL in 95 and if they did it never had 17" wheels. 17" wheels are somthing GM started in 2005. I think Mctaf does not know what he has.
