2005 5.3 Liter hesitation

I have a 2005 TrailBlazer EXT with the 5.3 liter. It has an off idle hesitation and from a dead stop full throttle it bogs then goes. It seems to happen when warm but not cold. I sometimes also feel a shudder at part throttle. Could it be running lean? No codes 2500 miles. My 2003 TB did not do this. Before I took it in I wanted some feedback from other owners. Just curious why are you going full throttle with a trailblazer ??

 

Especially with 2500 miles on it....LOL they aren't racing trucks they are urban cruisers.... They must weigh just shy of my Tahoe at 5000 pounds....

5.3 Trailblazers are rare in this neck of the woods. I've only seen two since they came out with this option.

 

Does sound like it's going lean momentarily. No clue why.

Tampa is a very traffic congested area and in order to get out into the flow when crossing lanes to turn left sometimes you have to nail it. I don’t expect it to launch like my Z-28 (and it doesn’t) but it definitely is not as smooth or quick as my 2003. At a steady highway speed 60 or 70 you fell a definite miss or jerk. One service writer thought it was the DOD kicking in. If there was a bad plug wouldn’t throw a code? Thanks for the input.
