Yep, I have the PAC GM9-AUX I believe in mine... ebay has some usually. Different adapters depending on your current setup.

Here's how I set it up:

The RCA jacks on in a convenient place to plug in my MP3 or portable DVD player, etc. I also wired in some LED lights, more for looks than anything.

You just need an aux. input adapter and some sort of portable MP3 player.

Can you play a disk that is burned with MP3's in the stock cd player?

No. But there is a MP3 radio in some other models that I think will work in our trucks.

If you look on ebay, you can find newer radios that will play mp3's. I'm looking for a factory unit that's an in-dash cd changer out of a newer truck. If anyone has one, I'm interested.

What is pluged into your cig outlet there?

I thought about looking for one of the newer factory MP3 players, but instead ended up installing the Pioneer DEH6700MP along with a sub. Nice stereo.

Looks like a cell charger.

That MP3 stereo is pretty cool. Sucks our 2004 Blazer doesn't have that. It looks just like it but doesn't say Mp3 on the front. The one on ebay is $250... you could get a Pioneer that would play MP3s and a lot more for that.

I can play burned disc's from mp3's in my 03 factory stereo. Well I am 99% sure. Since adding the 6cd changer I don't use the factory cd much. I will check it at lunch.

Yes..aftermarket is the only way to go. I went with a Pioneer Premier 740 MP a while back and I love it. Back when I got mine you had to get Premier model to play MP3, but now the less expensive base Pioneers will do the trick too. The new ones also load MP3s a lot faster than mine. I'm considering upgrading to an Almpine myself though.

I put a pioneer deh4600 in my 01 and I love it, 12 or more albums per disc and it displays artist/track name . Real easy install, got the unit and install kit for 175$ at best buy :driving:
