Factory (Panasonic) DVD Player...

My 05 silverado has the flip down DVD player. Is it possible to add a second monior somewhere or is this a fully self contained unit? Anyone know?

This link has the detail on how to do this. I set it up with my 2004 factory DVD player.

 

There is signal loss. So if you want a nice clear picture, make sure to use shielded RCA cables and a video booster.

you can add as many monitors as you want, you will need a video amplifier. I can provide you with the proper video wires to tap into. You can even display video on the factory navigational headunit if you have it. PM me if you more info.
