Fender Flares, etc.

Does anybody know if fender flares from 2001 models of the 1500 Silverado will fit on the 2002 model?  

 

Is the 2002 model roughly the same body-wise as the 2001?

They should fit Cowboy.  No change thatI know of.

Can you get Flares that are already painted to match?  If so, where.

I know some flares come painted, but I don't know for sure if you can buy them already painted.  There have been other discussions about this, so maybe someone else can answer it better.

I just thought of something.  I don't think stepside flares and fleetside flares are the same, even on the same model year.  One of our members, StepsideZ, has some factory mud flaps on his stepside, and if I remember correctly, he said they were a different part number from the mud flaps used on the fleetsides.  Based on that, I would say the lower, back side of the rear heel well is shaped differenty on the stepsides.

Tom, On GMPartsDirect.com they have part numbers listed for painted flares, so I am assuming that you can buy them painted form them.

I think I'll just go to the local 4-wheel drive store, let them take a look, then see what my options are.
