What is the best AT tires for highway road?

What All Terrain tires for Sburbans/ Yukons do you suggest that can be descent enough to be in the highways?

What kind of mileage have you gotten out of them?

My BFG AT's are quiet. They were much cheaper ($200) than Dueler Revos in my area.

I run BFG AT's and I love them. Good all around traction and wear combo. Resonably priced. My parents run nothing but Michelans on their SUV's. They are not as aggresive but get about 1 and half times the mileage than all of these other all terrain tires mentioned so far. A little on the expensive side but worth it if you plan on staying on the pavement and running up the miles.

I totally agree with the post above. Had the bfg at's and they last forever it seems as long as you aren't smoking them off.

I would stick with Michelins or the BFG Rugged trail terrain. I am running the BFG's on my 2500 Crew and am very impressed. Michelins and the BFG's don't have the greatest traction though, but if you are doing mainly hwy and turn off the path soemwhat you wold be fine with any of these. I think the Yokohama Geolanders are by far the best looking and have the best price, but after about 10-15K on them they roar like a SOB and that's why I just traded them in. There are a lot of BFG All terrains out there and my experience has not been good. The wear was horrible. Hope this helps.

The key to the BFG All Terrains is that you need to rotate them. (No, driving on them isn't rotating them...) I tried to rotate mine at least every 10k miles. I have over 50k on this set and they still have decent tread left. I'll probably replace them before the snow flies, although they might make it thru the winter as is.

The key to the BFG All Terrains is that you need to rotate them

 

I too haver the BFG At's with almost 60K and they are just now needing to be rplaced. I also rotate every 10K. Great tire.........
