Where is the temp sensor?

I've searched the owners manual but I can't find anything that tells me where the temperature sensor for the temp readout in my rearview mirror is located on my '05 Silverado. I'm not having any problems...I'm just curious.

It is mounted on a metal brace in front of the radiator and AC condensing coil.
