window button lights

I just noticed that the indicator lights for the two front windows are not illuminating at night(problem #1) and perhaps coincidently the pass side windows are not always operational(problem #2) Could these be related? doubtful I'm guessing. Also my dog rides with me alot and she's always up on the arm rest standing on the window/pwr lock buttons could this be a reason for concern?

If you can get the switch apart the lights are replaceable, soldering probably required. Mine need replaced as well but I couldn't take the switch apart, I was afraid something would break.

yeah, i had this problem a few months back. the lights on the front passenger window and lock switches were both out, and the lights on the front driver switches were also out. I tried like h@ll to get those boxes apart once I got 'em out, but then you'd have to solder the new bulbs on... the entire boxes look like they basically are made to be replaced as a whole. so, i replaced them. you have to remove the door panels and then you just unplug the old box and plug the new box in. not too hard to do. here are the parts I had to replace (sorry, don't have the price on the second one)
