replacement shocks

Does anyone know if front and rear shocks off of a 2005 2500 4x4 fit on a 2000 1500 z71??

 

They look the same as far as mounting points but im not totally sure if they will bolt right in with no problems.

They probably would fit but would you really want them on a 1500? The weight difference between the two trucks would make your 1500 ride like a buckboard. It will still only carry the same GVW that the vehicle was built for.

I was sort of thinking about the ride quality and wasnt sure if they would be that much harsher than a set of heavy duty bilsteins.
