Dad got a new truck today

He paid $20,000 USD plus his 1975 GMC K15 High Sierra for an "almost new" 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500HD LS with 29K on the odo. List price for it was 24,500, so everyone broke even. Rode in it on Sunday, d**n fine truck if I may say so. All the usual stuff: 6.0, auto, LS interior, CC, SB, sprayed bedliner, Luverne nerf bars and bed rail bars, chrome rocker panel plates, fog lights, DIC, CD, AutoStart, OnStar, etc Pics to come if 96z71asskicker ever gets back from Laramie, WY to take pics. (he's @ Wyotech now). Maybe if I'm lucky, when he gets too old to drive it, he can sell it to me. Wishful thinking on someone else's dream, though.

 

Edit: Forgot to add the soft tonneau cover, Dark Green Metallic exterior and Dark Charcoal interior with Tan cloth headliner.

Sounds like a nice rig. That trade reminds me of days when I had my restored 79 K-20. Every day (except at the gas station) I wish I had that truck back!

Yea, I have a few I wish I had never sold. But the 1972 K-20 4x4 kind of makes up for those losses. It's way better truck than any of the older ones I've owned. So I got that going for me...
