Hello folks

 

I will be going an a 2500 mile trip in a month

 

I have a 04 silverado 4x4 with the 4.8 and 3.73 gears...i also have 285/70/17 (33 inch) bfg a/t tires and a tonneau cover

 

just curious, i will be driving all highway miles and was wanting to know how many miles per tank i should be expected to get... i always fill my truck at 1/2 so i have no clue what to expect on a full tank.

I get around 600 all highway when the idiot light kicks on, usually. I have the LB with 34 gal. tank, though, and stock rubber. 3 gallons left in 'er with the idiot light on.

 

However, for 3 bucks on the gallon that makes for a $93 fill up, I've been filling up at 3/4 tank lately =).

gas here is 1.34 a litre converted to us gallon is 5.07 gallon and with the us exchange rate i pay $6.00 a gallon and i am 15 minutes from the buffalo border on the canadian side

If it is all highway, i would figure you would get over 350 miles per tank. Probably pushing 400 depending on how you drive. seeing you have BFG's, that may take a little away, but nothing too noticable.
