05 Yukon 4:10 getting 13mpg????

I have a friend that has an 05 yukon (not xl) 4x4 with 4:10 gears that only gets 13 to 14 mpg....average...anyone else have this set up can tell me what you mpg happens to be?

sounds about right. i only get 15 with 3.73s and a lot lighter rig(see sig)

I have a 04 burb 5.3 with 3:73 gears and getting 11 to 12. I wish I knew why it was is so low

I got a friend that goes to lsu so he gets to check his highway milage alot. He's got a 99 z71 ecsb with a 5.3 and 4.10, and he hasn't seen 15 yet he's always closer to 13 mpg on the highway.

Ouch, with that mileage, you'd be better off to get the 6.0 with 3.73 (it it was offered) Those guys are getting 14-16mpg.

I have an 02 Burban 3/4 ton with a 6.0 with 4.10's and I am getting 13.5 in the city and I am dancing in the street.

im getting around 9 but thats with a 7000 pound rig, not bad, but for anormal yukon id expect around 15 to 17, whatabout his driving habits, what gas does he use, the 4,10's should be good for around town and theoretically bad on the freeway, try giving the truck some time to break in if he hasnt to see if mpg increase, i know with mine it went up after 5000 miles

I just measured MPG on Labor day trip, did calculation on one tank between fill-ups. Combination of hiway with cruise control set at 70 mph, rural roads with hills and small towns, and some neighborhood driving. Blended mileage was 12.5. Oh well. Stopped measuring MPG after that, spent over $275 for gas in 2 1/2 days.

Thats the sad thing...he said for the first 2000 or so miles, he was getting around 17 on the highway, and then all of the sudden it has dropped..no lights, codes or anything....but he has noticed that is surges on the highway?? I dont know....sounds like he is just screwed..lol..???
