Performance kit is finally here.  Ordered it about 2 weeks ago, think they shipped it by Pony Express here to Alaska.  I'll be installing it tonight.  How long will it take the computer to get used to it?  

Next up is my dual exhaust..

The general rule of thumb is 500 miles for the computer to readjust itself.  To help speed up the process, take off the neg. cable from the battery before you start your installation.  This will return the computer to it's defaults, and should allow it to learn the new settings quicker (no old data to compare too...)

I don't use any K & N products, but anytime you change any engine componant, you should reset your PCM before you fire it up.
