Price on New Diesel

I have been trying for over 2 weeks to get price on Diesel pick-up with the new Duramax 360 HP. Has anyone been able to get a price. I'm talking to 4 differant dealers. I have them down to dealer cost, how much lower do you think they will go. I was thinking of making an offer 2K below dealer cost. What do you think

id say dealer cost is pretty good for the fact the truck's price specs arent out yet officially, the truck is probably 10 times better than the old even though the "old" is incredible.. ill let that speak for itself... but don't be too demanding on the salesman but other than that anything under 43000 with leather etc is good.. depending on the configuration,

I believe GM's promotion will be ending in a few days so this is probably a good time to buy. I'm very happy with my Duramax!

$2k below invoice ought to be doable, most of the employee prices are computing out about 83% of MSRP which is about $2500 below invoice.

 

I saw on GM BuyPower the LBZ diesel (360 hp and 650# torque) is listed now. Are you ordering a truck or have you located an LBZ on a dealer's lot?

I'll be ordering a LBZ if I can find a dealer with a price. As of yesterday 2 local dealers don't have price on engine from factory, I guess I'll just have to wait. This will be my first GMC in 49 years of owning FORDS

I'm planning to order a GMC too, with the LBZ engine. As best I can tell by using the "Build Your Own" function of the GM Buy Power site, the price of the LBZ will be the same as the LLY.

 

I'm a Ford owner too, had them for a long time but I think I'll try a GM product next.

I have no idea about any current rebates, but dealer cost is a great place to start.

With diesel fuel going for almost a dollar a gallon more than unleaded here I bet dealers will be offering deals on them now...
