alternative to K&N

 

Is it any better or worse than the K&N or Volant, etc?

Looks cool, it replaces the air box lid and the intake tube w/ some clear ones.  It uses a K&N Drop in filter and the extra power is made up in the straighter tube.  

 

I was browsing the site for a bit, it's available in black, smoke, clear, & carbon fiber (where's the victory red).  I guess it looks cool, but it costs the same as a volant or K&N FIPK (249 bucks) so I don't see the real savings.  If they marketed it for about 150 it would be a bigger seller.  But at that price I don't see how it will out perform a K&N or volant intake.
