Hey guys,

Well, finally got the truck washed up and thought I would snap a couple of pictures for ya'll. The truck recently had factory XM installed, painted door handles, painted tailgate handle w/ bezel, factory 6 in dash cd player. Well, below are the pics, enjoy!!

Nice Look'in. As a white truck owner I like the white door handles. Although I have chrome over mine.

 

I still can't figure out why GM removed the OFF/ON switch for the airbags in 2005. So, I guess GM should have a sticker on your vehicle that reads no one under the age 12 permitted to ride in the vehicle. Just seems silly to me.

 

Wish I could have XM radio. Some of the stations around here are really starting to get boring and old.

looks good, i like the white, almost got it myself. After the first time i waxed mine, i wish i had gotten white.

I went for the painted handles too, they look good on your truck. i wish mine came stock with those taillights too, that was just one more thing i had to mod to get that look.

It is weight sensor'ed. But, I see your point. I would rather have the switch. I had a '99 SCSB Z-71 and really liked the switch. One of GM's stupid upgrades.

Haha!! It's all good. I hated to see prothro get hurt. That kid has some d**n talent!! The door handles were the best upgrade besides XM.

The XM kit from my GM cost me around $340. But, I got it at cost because I know all the guys down there really well. If you don't know your parts guy well, it will be $397 or so. It took them about 3 days to get it in. They only charged my $180 bucks to install everything!! So, the XM install was only $130 bucks or so. But again, I know them really well. Below is the part number and the url to gmpartsdirect's page. I would order it from them, if you don't have the hook up.

After having that black tahoe. I am not getting another black vehicle. Besides a vette one day. White is just so easy to mantain.

Thanks man!! The next couple of things on the list are:

 

-Access Cover

-Spray-in bed liner

-Bridgestone Revo's w/ torsion bars cranked

-Painted grill shell w/ billet grill and bowtie

 

Hopefully will have all of that done in the next 2 weeks. I will post pics in this thread!! I have to fit a custom tune in there somewhere.
