Took the computer out of the truck today

Hey Guys,

 

For a while my truck has been running like crap when it firsts starts up.  But the minute it warms up, it runs perfect, or so I think.  Someone said it might be in the computer.  So I decided to take the computer out and have a look at it.  After I took it apart, I couldn't believe what I saw, a stage two Jet super chip that said for off-road use only.  Then it hit me, oh ####!  I have been running 87-octane gas ever since I bought the truck and never thought twice about it.  Anyway, I remember reading that running low octane gas can be bad for your engine if you have a chip in it.  Does anybody think I did any damage?  To make matters worse, I went on their website and looked up the chips model number, and it turns out that the chip was designed for a automatic transmission with OD, and I have the 5-speed.  Does anybody think this will hinder the performance?  Does this also mean my rev limiter, and top speed increase?  Need help big time on this one.  Thanks,

I would try running some super through it for a couple of tanks to see if it runs better.

PM 95Yukon, he runs a Stge 2 Jet in his and seems pretty knowledgable about this stuff.
