Finally sitting a bit lower...

Finally got it out of the air somewhat. Hotchkis 2/4 drop, front/rear sways. Rides a bit stiffer than I anticipated but hangs corners good. No more body roll. I think I need shorter tires now.

It is good to hear you have no rubbing problems with 285/50-20. I have a McGaughys drop kit of 2 inches in the front and 4 inches in the rear and wanted to do the same setup like your truck.

But, why do you think you need shorter tires?

Thank you.

I was considering either going with 265/50-20 (height=30.4) or 285/50-20 (height=31.2). Given you don't have rubbing problems, I probably will do the same like you.

Thank you again for the infomation.

your truck looks sweet. I'm thinking about doing something similar with mine. Where did you get your kit? Did you install yourself or have it done? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

Well let me ask you guys this. Do you think that I can clear a 2/4 drop with 265-70-17's? That is 31.6 overall.

Thanks!
