Now what?

I put in my intake gaskets today and I go to start it and nothing no crank no nothing. I have power in the cab and everything else works but it wont turn over nor will the starter even click.

Double check ALL of your wiring connections,ground cable, make sure you did'nt pinch the harness by mistake....also make sure the harness to your neutral safety/back-up lamp switch didnt get pulled at the tranny when you were moving things around......at least that's where I would start to look....

 

p.s. This may sound dumb, but make sure its in PARK

I found out that the computer isn't grounding out the relay for the stsrter. Now I need to figure out why. I am also going to go over all of my connections and check the neutral saftey switch.

A bad or loose ground may be the issue, and would cause a problem. While you're in there looking around, make sure that you did'nt miss a ground wire somewhere that you may have gotten lost in the mix. Usually bolted to the top of the intake bolts or thermostat cover bolts, or even in back of one of the heads that you may have loosened to give yourself room to work.....just a guess

There is a solenoid or something on the passenger side bolted to the plenium towards the front with three vacuum lines and on electrical connection. Can someone please tell me where the vacuum lines go to, one goes to the canister on the drivers side, the other to the egr valve on the passenger side BUT where does the other one go?

There should be a vacuum diagram on the Emissions sticker under the hood. It's a little vague, but should point you in the general direction.
