She died on me today

I have a 90 chevy 4x4 5.7 with auto.  My truck sat for a few days and i drove it to work today.  When i got to work it stalled while turning into the parking lot.  I restarted and it ran for a few seconds then stalled again.  All of the gauges read fine and i filled it up with some 93 on the way to work.  I drove it home later and it ran fine, no problems at all.  Hard question to ask but any ideas?  I also noticed a little puddle of anti-freeze on the intake right in front of the runner for the number 2 cylinder.

BTW truck broke down today and i stumbled across this page from another unrelated page.

Welcome to the club, You'll find good folk here, the majority here own the newer, 99-up, trucks, but, some of us with old faithfuls.

As far as the antifreeze, common place to collect. gasket is alittle loose, I'd probably put a wrench on the bolts and tighten them down. Gasket seeping alittle, wicks up the bolt, and collects in low spot. But, with it there, if its going up, its probably going down into crankcase.

Also, another place to check for leakage is the thermostat housing gasket and/or hose clamp. More common places for leakage.
