Electrical problem

I've got some sort of electrical problem and thought maybe someone had experience or an explanation.  My dome light does not work at all.  Not when I open a door, not when I turn up the light switch (when I turn up the switch, no light, AND the CARGO LIGHT ON warning comes on, yet the cargo light is not on).  Also, the same story with the 'navigation' lights (the two above the driver & passenger).  When I attempt to turn them on, the CARGO LIGHT ON warning comes on.  When I hit the cargo light button, the warning comes up, but no light for the bed.  Any explanation??  I'm just trying to save myself a trip to the dealer if it's something little/easy.

I bet you have a blown fuse.  According to my owners manual, there are 2 fuses located in the access panel on the driverside end of the dash board that deal with Interior Lamps.

 

In the fuse block under the dash (left of the steering column) the manual says there is one fuse labeled Courtesy Lamps.

 

And in the electrical control center under the hood there is a fuse labeled CTSY LP for Interior Lamps.

Thanks Shaners!  The blown fuse was in the electrical control box under the hood (where I hadn't checked!).  I now have interior light, hoorah!

I just got my 07 NBS 2500HD back after the cabin computer went out - my dome lights came on and stayed on until the 20min disconnect kicked in.
