Going to get a wait 4 me

Ok, I have decided to order me a Wait 4 me tune in the morning. I am going to have to do something with this 6.0. It is sick, the tune will either wake it up or I will have to put it out of its misery.(Trade it off). What info do I need to have ready when I call? I get to keep my old one right?

Get it..... you won't regret it :shakehead: . I am going to send mine back to Jesse for some "tweaking" in the very near future and to soften the shifts up just a bit (It is a little too firm for the street while the truck is not loaded). If I pulled a trailer or had the bed loaded all the time, it would be perfect. I pulled a 6x12 loaded moving trailer and then had about 1000lbs another time and it shifted really nice.

Hey bluefenofeno, let me know how things go with the tune. I might do the same for my 6.0. By the way, I called the other day and he is about a week backlogged on the tunes.

I installed mine Friday night (11/18) and WOW, I have a new truck! It started fine, ran smooth, and when I got in to back it out of the driveway I tapped the gas like normal and laid two black pacthes about a foot in lenght without any effort.

The truck drives better, I get the throttle response I want, and the fuel mileage seems to be about 2 MPG better, and I have about 100 miles on the truck since putting it in, and just love it.

Yeah, it takes a while but it's worth the wait and money to get it done. I have the big grin  while driving my truck.

I installed my wait4me tune a few days ago and love , it's an inexpensive mod for a lot of get up and go, I can actually leave dual ten yard burn out marks from a stand still  . It did take a couple days and about 100 miles of aggressive driving for it to really come alive though, no regrets at all.

On a side note...

I saw you had a magnaflow muffler... how loud is it over stock and could you feel a difference in power? I am pretty sur ethat my factory muffler is restrictive but don't ewant anything real loud (interior noise) and would rather keep my factory tailpipe. Thanks!
