Test Drive (2002)

 

I've beaten every single track on the game, and now I'm down to the final (I think) race with Clark in San Francisco. I for the life of me can't seem to beat him and the game. Anyone have a tip for me? The car I'm using is the 1966 Ford GT-40. I can't switch cars out, the storyline has me locked in with it. Otherwise, I'd use the 1993 Jaguar XJ220 if I could. That's the car I used to beat Vasily in Monte Carlo and to be able to compete with Clark for the Viper. About 99% of the time, I can stay in front of Clark, but when I come up to the tunnel near the end, I lose control of the car and end up slamming it head on into the middle of the tunnel abutment going somewhere near 210mph. Then all hell and the rear end break loose and I'm left spinning my tires in the 'Frisco dust while that friggin' Viper goes on to win. What can I do, other than the obvious of course, to kick this game's ass?

 

Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind. I was able to beat it at 12:45 CST this morning. I ended up "pit manuvering" Clark into a taxi cab and finished a second or so ahead of him.
