2001 Z71...Ive got a haze that has formed at the top right corner of my back windshield.....It wont wash off with soap and water, or rub off with finger...Anyone ever had this haze happen and what can i do to try and removed it? Its a pretty big spot...Thanks

Try some fine steel wool...It won't scratch the glass but it will the paint if ya hit it.If that doesn't get then I got another trick for ya..

I had this once after applying RainEx, the rear window and one of the rear sides windows stayed hazed. So I re-applied the Rainex and did the usual rinse with water and this took it off.

 

But you may not have used Rainex.

If you find nothing comes off it could be the glass itself. Now I could be wrong but, I had a vehicle once that had a spec of metal between the two panes of glass in the windshield. So, what you could be seeing is the glass de-laminating and fog/condensation building up between the two panes; only repair, new windshield. Most Insurance companies will repair that if it's in your primary field of vision while driving. IE Right in front of yah.

Hey Shorgasm..Whats the other tip ? Thanks for all the replies so far...I havent used rain-x on the back window and it doesnt seem that anything is building up in the glass , so i dont know
