'05 lo beam type

For the '05 Sierra's, I think the OEM 9006 bulbs are filled with halogen gas. I've seen a set of GE Xenon-gas (not HID) filled 9006 bulbs made for SUVs, Trucks & Vans (GE part # 9006SUV). From their website, it says this bulb has a narrower beam suited for trucks. It also puts out 51W of power.

 

I've also looked at Sylvania's Silverstars, but they are spec'ed to last for 1.5 years. Has anyone tried both upgrades to the OEM bulbs?

I've got Silverstars in my lows, highs, and fogs. The fogs burnt out quick, but so far the others have done well. If you get them, don't touch the glass as others have indicated that that is a pathway to early failure. They put out a whiter light.
