Im completly in the dark here i have a 90 GMC but since gas is so high my grandmother gave me her 96 pontiac grand am... and you would be driving it and it lights up like a christmas tree and shuts off but if you put it in park and start it again it runs fine. could it be something in the ignition.????? thanks

all the lights on the dash come on everything....??

Thats what i tryed to tell the mechanic and hes like there nothing wrong with it..it shut off on me twice....if it does it again im takin it to a Dealership... thanks for your help
