Billet Grill on AV

Got a nice Billet Grill looking really good but........I can't hardly open my Hood because of the latch being compromised. This is the type of grill that simply fit (poorly) over top the stock grill :angry:

Anyone else have this situation?

 

If so what are you doing to work the latch when you need to pop the hood?

im not sure what brand you ordered, or from what manufacturer, but i do know that trenz did make a new modified batch for the avalanche that has an extra cut on the lower grille where you could fit your finger to open your hood.

As with Most Trenz Stuff there grills suck. I have a precison grill on mine and no problems at all. I have a lot of trenz stuff on my impala and they qc sucks big time anyhow hope you get it fixed.
