BAD problem...

Hey, i was driving last night and my (service engine soon) light came on...soo i pulled over to check to see if it was my gas cap maybe that was all fine...its still on too..im not sure what it could be...in the manual it said that if its a steady light its a Emissions problem...and its a steady light..what could the possibiltys be?im probably going to end up taking my truck over to the shop in the morning to get the codes pulled..thanks for the help-Travis

It could be a thousand and one different things.

 

My first guess would be knock sensor. Have you powerwashed the engine recently?

take it to Autozone and have your DTC (diagnostic trouble code) read for free.
