6.0 SuperCharger kits?

My friends dad is looking into getting more power out of his 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500. Currently he has dual exhaust, Hypertech, AEM intake, And a throttle body spacer. I have been consulting with my friend about maybe doing headers and a free flow cat. I was over at Summit and noticed they make a supercharger kit for these trucks. The part number is VOR-4GL218-040SQ.

 

I don't think he wants to mess with the internal engine parts yet but I did mention maybe a mild cam and lifters. I even mentioned doing a stroker kit but has to run on pump gas and is a daily driver also its used for plowing hence wanting more power!

 

Let me know what you guys think, He is probably open to many ideas!

The cats are already free flowing on this truck so don't waste his money on those.

 

The supercharger will wake up the engine without ever opening it up. Its is far better in my opinion then changing the cam or going the stroker route.

 

It's a big, heavy truck and the supercharger will produce more HP and TQ at lower rpm's than any other option. It's not cheap, but it's the best of all worlds if you have the bucks. Forget about MPG though.... You gotta pay to play

Radix Magnacharger.. If he wants to drop the $$$ thats definetely one of the better routes, if not the best..
