I had a 94 1500 Chev Suburban,with a western pro plow. I got the codes off the bars and figured out what I wanted and got one under full one ton and they were great. There was very little drop when lifted plow and the ride with and with out was very good. Now I have 02 Suburban with Z71 package and got codes and ordered one under full one ton and they were 2 inches too long. I talked to my parts guy at GM and they could not come up with any ideas. That was almost two years ago, I want to start looking again. I will look for the info I had before and post it later.

  $3.93 for 87 octane. $4.73 for 93 octane. $4.70ish for diesel. But a short drive can see prices swings as high as $5.30's still.

  Thanks for the reply. Im not sure what you mean by the hype Nate puts out. I dont really know much about either trans. I do hear more about the 10 speed transmission having issues but im sure it's only a small % of them that are manufactured. I have heard that the 10 keeps you in the power curve more with less Rpm drop. My stepfather has a 10 speed in his 1/2 ton and im not crazy about the way it shifts and he has started experiencing shudder at 100k.
