Fold down armrest/console in 02 1500rc

I want a fold down console in my truck. It has what looks like one but it isnt. It just stays up like a seatback for the center. Can i just swap it out and put one in that folds down?

Yes...you can just swap out your center seat for a folding one. You have to take out both seats to remove the center seat. The only problem will be matching the upholstery color/texture. I think the non-folding seats were different than the LS/LT trim level. I just put in the full length center console. I sold my folding seat on Ebay...take a look there are usually a few for sale there, they sell for about $250-300.

Ok thanks for the info. I would get the full center console but i will be driving around 3 passengers a good bit so I would like to help them out with some roome to move.
