Unusual suprise!

i just wanted to let you all know that i finally got around to changing my plugs and the plugs i pulled out were not ac delco! they were denso plugs. might i add that the plugs have never been changed since the truck was purchased from the dealer ship. my dad bought this truck with 5 miles on the odometer in 2002. has any one else found this?

Nothing wrong with Denso plugs. Maybe GM got a good deal on them.

A lot of the "NEW BODY STYLE" trucks came with Denso plugs,My '99 had Denso's.

I have almost 51000 miles on my truck and the plugs were black but not horrible. i put the ac delco irridium plugs in and it seemed to smooth out the idle. cant notice any power difference. other than a slight improvement down low. nothin to write home about

tho.

same experience when changing plugs here.

Most people won't notice a difference after replacing the plugs unless they were extremely worn out.
